ever since i could remember, i’ve always been a huge fan of oversized, extra large bags/weekenders. even if i don’t even need it to be that large, i’d find a way to carry a bag of that size just for the sheer look of it. the bag i’m carrying is an old baiastice classic, another one of my older sl faves. probably one of my recent purchases from the dressing room is this beautifully sleeved top from baiastice also. the sleeves make for some great movement and make any edgier outfit instantly sophisticated and femme. and the earrings – new from glow which i really just love. they’re playful, ladylike and tres chic. such a sucker for jewelery i am.

tribal luxe.

i don’t know what it is about this necklace, but whenever i’m sifting through my accessories, i’m always drawn to this one. it never gets old because it’s magnifique! when i was putting the look together, i was getting a bit of a tribal feel but still kept it fancy and hopefully fierce with an extravagantly sleeved house of fox leather jacket and my favorite fur collar. the boots are new from kookie which i adore – love a great leather boot, and with socks! although i’ve been very blonde and bleached out lately with the hair, i’ve decided to go my natural dark again. short and sweet!

p.s. excited for nyc restaurant week! although unfortunately, more of the restaurants i’ve wanted to try are all booked… it still gives me a reason to go out and treat myself with some friends. hooray for that! :]

one of my favorite experiences in sl has always been finding hidden, gorgeous pieces in less than grandiose places. that’s definately the case for this great red rose dress from awram-viie, my go-to for quick, adorable pieces for a bargain. the stole is from &bean for the seasons hunt and really ups any outfit to a new level of fun. as for the awesome lipstick and teeth, it’s new from pididdle for kozmetica – pretty much a mecca for any makeup fiend… a one stop shop for makeup from a variety of stores. nothing too crazy or overkilled here. just a look with some solid basic colors yet, a fun take on textures!

looking forward.

i know that it’s still bitterly cold out and it has still been snowing recently, but i can’t help but think what spring will bring in terms of wardrobe. i’ve always been a huge fan of cute yet funky jumpsuits/jumpers and hope that it’ll continue to be a big thing in the upcoming season. in the spirit of thinking about what’s the to come, i thought i’d do a little post using an adorable jumpsuit from wasted youth. it’s fun how you can dress it down to be modest and casual, or sex it up with a great necklace and some heels. the puffed up lace sleeves are also from wasted youth, the new wang top. the boots have been a favorite of mine from theosophy – adore the shape to bits! as for the hair, you all know by now… the latest from lamb and probably my most adored recent release from lamb bellic!

so ever since i got back to blogging, i’ve been enjoying myself and the fashion… but i’ve also really been missing some of my blogging friends from back when i was keeping the site up actively… as well as people i’ve worked with in the past. one of those people being the ever so talented mr. stokely mayfair himself. thus, we’ve decided to create a look together! a fellow blogger friend and my ex-le.look styling partner, it’s always interesting working with this dude right here (remember how laggy and miserable that day was at le.look? lol miss it a though!). here is a quick travel-esque look inspired by the very cool pants from fishy strawberry as part of the dressing room. i don’t know about you, but when i travel, i refuse to wear heels – no matter how glam that may seem. thus the adorable tram fur flats along with a sturdy tee*fy bag from a recent 50L friday. cozy myself up with a good shearling jacket, crystallized sweater, some funky shade thrones and a sharp/stylish friend to travel with – and you just can’t go wrong.
