frizz me.

hullo! spent a bit of time away from being in-world and have been horrible at posting, but i promise to come back every once in a while to try and update! i don’t know what came over me during my time away, but i’ve come back as a redhead. and absolutely loving it. what i love more though are some of the new hairs from lelutka – with the rykiel in particular. there’s something about massively frizzy hair that i find just absolutely stunning (i might not take it off for a while – we’ll see!). the hair, appropriately named “rykiel” is everything a great frizzy hair should be – tons of volume, mixed in crimp and soft-looking. i fell for this shade of auburnhaze. but enough about the hair, lagyo has some great new jewelry out (congrats to my love gyo for having lagyo win the award for best accessories from the bosl awards!). the necklace i’m wearing is just a taste of some great new items out there.. including some awesome sombreros that i can’t wait to try on and mix and match with. i completed the look with a pair of my favorite old &bean trousers, a nordic coat, emery’s lace tie top and some mary jane pumps. oh, and can’t forget some lovely lime green lace socks. hope you enjoy and missed you loves!

some afternoon tea.

it’s a shame i’ve waited this long to post these pictures when i had them done days ago… but here they are! i am absolutely in love with some of the new laviere stuff from azure electricteeth, designer of teefy – what a talented young lady she is! i’m all over this floral dress, full of volume and life, which also comes in other shades including a very chic nude. the slim pants are also from the new brand and i really liked it in this vibrant lime green shade. the striped cardi is one of my recent faves from tres blah’s xstreet assortment. the hair speaks for itself – the latest from lelutka and so incredibly lovely… and as for the headpiece? my favorite! i seem to find a way to resort back to it and have an excuse to wear it again. love it with all my heart. and can’t forget about that fun eyeshadow by cheap makeup – bright and so much fun to match up with your outfit.

all play.

the look is fairly simple – but with some subtle playfulness to it. the hair is absolutely gorgeous and new to lelutka, appropriately named lohan – and i loved it in this firey blonde hue. the top is actually the top portion of tee*fy’s 50L friday dress, which was so adorable and totally a bargain buy. and lastly, the fun oversized bow is from fellow blogger mijn seoung‘s newest store, brb, where she offers the bow in an array of colors along with some cute oxford shoes!

bossa stroll.

so i was styling away with this new solidea folies floral headpiece and my la malvada mujer makeup (since i’ve become re-obsessed lately) and realized that for some reason, my look started to remind me of the bossa nova period. thus the sergio and brasil 66 tribute sound. don’t ask me how i lead myself to such inspirations – my odd mind works in odd ways. as for the shirt, i am in love at how marc jacob-y this top seemed to me. while i initially wanted to create a vintagey look with it… this is what the end result turned out to be. the shoes are a new classic, yet solid pair of pumps from elikatira which i’m wearing in a subtle nude. and the skin! oh the skin… new from tuli and gorgeous, i’ve fallen in love with tuli again from their recent releases (ty, they’re absolutely lovely!). lastly, my touch of nostalgia for the outfit is the necklace from kookie – which was probably one of the first jewelry purchases i ever made in sl. brings back fond virtual memories!

cold funk.

there’s a certain cool about la malvada mujer makeup. each kind is always special in its own way and you never bore of them. i’ve always loved big, bold jewelry… thus the glow necklace with the statement jewel which i adore. i decided to pair a delicate looking lace top with some loud and proud blue leopard leggings and an avocado colored skirt from lmk – and we can’t disregard the fact that it’s still winter so the look is topped off with some new snuggly boots from duboo (gomawo newnew <3)!
