it’s getting late and i don’t have much to say except that these boots are the love of my life right now and i want to make hot slex with it, numerous times a day :O. i have been on a hunt for some hot, well made thigh high boots and coco has now ended my hunt. the ribbon that wraps up your calf and ties behind your knees are devine, the shape of the boots are perfect, and the height of the boot is exactly what a perfect thigh-high should be. as rachel zoe would say, i die for them. they are totally bananas. gnite everyone <3.

phew! i’m back!! sorry i haven’t been updating recently – just been super busy with some other things that have been going on… including the spread i’ve been working on, which i’m hoping turned out ok :]. before i post a link to the mag, i definately wanted to get a post in prior to that… plus, i’ve been meaning to blog about my two favorite accessories lately. you can probably guess what those items are from looking at the title and pictures . i’ve been going pretty gaga for some interesting and funky new glasses lately and glasses from duboo’s new glasses shop certainly has been satiating me. the one i’m particuarly in love with recently are these mint colored mommy’s glasses from duboo. so cute and the perfect shade of mint green – it makes an outfit instantly cute, quirky, and flirty! i’ve also had this new necklace from lagyo called the styleway pretty much attached permanently to my neck recently. i can’t seem to take it off – one reason being that it just happens to match with everything which is so wonderful and very practical. while fashion can sometimes seem impractical, this piece is a for sure must have – and yes, i may be biased because i have an ongoing love affair with lagyo’s stuff, but it definately is versatile. the hair is also new by 3636 where the designer randomly sent this over for me to test drive – and i really liked this one called the athena in caramel (i’m horrible but i can’t remember who the designer was for this! it was just a quick inventory send from him and haven’t communicated much after that. if you’re reading this, speak up and perhaps include an slurl in your comment please!). well, that’s about it for this post. it’s wednesday, so happy hump day!

in the spirit of halloween, i wanted to do something with a little orange and black without looking like a pumpkin, witch, ghost, or anything that remotely resembles the halloween holiday. cuz like i say, dressing like a holiday kind of turns me off and makes me scrunch my nose. with that said, while i was sitting there wandering around in world, i get a glorious notice from mademoiselle polina kaestner from her -la maison kaestner- group with a leetle halloween gift! the skirt was perfect as pk warned us it would be. it was the perfect splash of halloween orange on a seemingly casual and normal outfit to give it that holiday charm. it sways like magic and the color isn’t that obnoxious in your face orange like a lot of halloween items are. i paired it with the adorable peter pan blouse in gray from this is a fawn (love the white collar!) and a gorgeous necklace from one of my very favorite jewelery stores, lagyo called the ducky from the memories necklace set. love it sooo much <3. the design on the pendant is super pretty, especially on the ducky one which i think is my favorite. lagyo will also be releasing some awesome headpieces soon, so be sure to make your way to gyorgyna’s store and check it out! well, that is all. happy thursday everyone and get ready for some spooky fun this weekend! i’ll be playing awesome cosmic bingo like i’m 70.

haiiiiiiiiii. boy, did i miss you guys. the blog had been neglected and i was behind in all things sl. it’s a good thing the designers united event wasn’t over yet! although i did get some stuff from there, don’t worry, i’m not gonna contribute to the lineup of DU II posts you’ve seen already. although i did have to use lmk’s gorgeous crow heels and vive9’s petcrow skin in pale which i adore. but aside from those – nothing else in this post! i’ll most likely be using pieces of them sporadically over the next couple of posts or so mixed in with other things. but anyway, i’ve been diligently gathering items and finding places to take photoshoots at for my upcoming first editorial 10 pg spread for glance magazine next month (yes, my very first as a new stylist for glance) and got a list full of great places to take pictures at from a friend (ty r0se!)… and really wanted to take a cute dainty pic next to this cute dainty little kitty at euphoria realm. i’ve also had this dress on from cheap makeup prior to my week long trip and felt it just needed to be written about since i think it’s absolutely adorable. the gray cardigan is a long flexi cardi from lmk which is not yet released, but so very lovely. the inner lace lined jeans are from none other than aoharu and the hair is of course, the already widely worn and featured say hair by !lamb. glad to be back & once the next issue of glance mag is available, i’ll be linking it from right here. until then, be sure to take a look at glance’s first issue featuring miu edman of mirone as the featured designer! <33

well, well… i’m back for another post. it’s been a minute since i’ve updated so i apologize for the delay. unfortunately, i’ll be out of town with limited to no access to sl for the next week or so – so this is going to be my last post in a some time. but anyway, there’s a couple things i wanted to highlight in this update. i’ve been meaning to write an update about these amazing glitter shirts for aoharu, but with my gusy rl schedule – i haven’t found the time (shame on me!). but i’m here and i’m writing about them now. machang pichot does it again and again and with this time.. she comes with plenty of glitz and sparkle to go around in all sorts of colors. in my first oufit, i wore it underneath an armidi tube top in cream with lelutka’s skirt portion only of their group gift, penelope a part time pirate dress from their fall collection! i haven’t had the time to completely check out the new collection yet, but i’m a big fan of marni so i’m sure it’ll be wonderful and fierce to the core. i love the rigid texture of the skirt. but back to the glitter shirts! in the first outfit i’m wearing it in yellow which is actually sort of a blend of different hues that make for this really outstanding blended combination of tints… and the second outfit by the fire, rocking the shirt in black. another part of my first outfit i just can’t get enough of is the new tres blah skins! as soon as i saw the preview pics, i knew i was going to get one (actually i ended up getting more than just one!) of juliette’s skins. the one i’m wearing is the one called cotton candy which is light and ethereal. the skin makes my avi look super artsy and chic – and i lurve it. looks like these !tb skins will be my default for a while until i just absolutely exhaust it. and last but not least… be sure to check out epoque’s new hairs for the fall just out today! my fave of them thus far (don’t fret though.. more is coming) is the overpaid stylist hair which is what i’m wearing below. the cool thing about this new hair by vintage mcmillan is that you can wear just the top part only, or with the extension to have the hair be longer! uber neat and useful. so it’s really like 2 hairs for the price of one – at least that’s how i look at it. the knitted cap colors are changeable in a variety of fall friendly tones. other new hairs from epoque include some new and enhanced versions of the london import hairs as well as some new hairs like the trackstar. if these first hairs are a reflection of what’s to come to epoque’s fall hair collection, then i think we’ll all have some very happy heads. the new coco riding boots are also super fabulous and i especially love them because i have a pair just like those in rl! well made and very functional = awesome buy. the funky shoes in the second outfit is from a store called grim bros that have the most stunning and out of this world heels ever. pretty much art for your feet and very beautiful. although i have to warn you before you go shop at the store because you want to leave buying everything in it! certainly dangerous for your sl wallet .

so i was cruisin through the feeds like i periodically do, feeling rather uninspired – until i landed upon this. this amazing balloon hair from pididdle. so very european, very star trek, but all around pretty damn fun & chic. when i laid my eyes on it, i immediately went into a tp’ing, styling frenzy putting this together with that, matching it with this then replacing it with that. gotta love a good styling session. the hair from piddidle comes in a variety of colors – but i especially loved in this caramel brown color named cider which i felt was pretty fitting with what the shade was. something about the hair makes me feel instantly cool and definately ups the wow factor on any outfit (and not that tacky WOW factor shit that sheree was talking about for she by sheree). i’ve also been really in love with my new tie-dye top from cheap makeup called my bf’s denim shirt. the shape and texture are well done and it reminds me a lot of the type of styling and trend urban outfitters is rocking right now – denim, tie-dye, and pairing the denim with unlikely texture combinations. i’ve also been sort of oddly obsessed with epoque’s browline shades all of a sudden, but in ivory particularly with clear lens. don’t ask me why. i just am. i wanted to take a quick pic of my outfit before i vespa away!! ciao ciao <3

happy (end) of the weekend everyone! so i’ve been away for most of it, but i have to say, i’ve come back to find out that i missed quite the grand opening for lelutka. pretty much grand opening with new build and new skins at lelutka = a fashionable shitshow. needless to say, i came back to quick try on some skins and appreciate the free group gift from minnu. the skins are beautifully made with a good amount of detail and attention to color. although they do make me look somewhat bitchy lol, i do like them – especially the ones with the defined and bold black liners <3. although not wearing them in my post here, i’m sure they’ll turn up sometime soon .
well, on to the outfit. i was happy to have created a look that was successfully budget chic. nothing that i’m wearing here is considered pricey. the hair, book, and shoes were all 100% free. as for the other garments, like i said – nothing outlandishly expensive at all. i wanted was to put a look together that accomplished being recession savvy as well as pair some pieces that normally wouldn’t be as obvious. a graphic cardigan, with a bold flower printed flowey tunic, a rugged pink cargo skirt, and shiny sequin leggings… and of course, one of my favorite pearl necklaces – always timeless and faithfully versatile. i absolutely adore the sort of morbid shoes from &bean… black heels with sculpted skulls on top. just because you have scary shoes doesn’t mean you have to look scary all over. top it off with a handful of gold bangles and a hand bracelet from shade throne, and you are so ready for a day of some light (but very stylish) reading .

tgi fucking friday. boy, was this week long. work sucked, the weather was shitty, and there are so many other things i could complain about… but now that the weekend is actually here, i’m just gonna stop and enjoy the fact that it’s all over. phew! but anyway, so i logged on to sl to unwind a bit and get started on a new post and came across a group notice from the one and only keiko morigi of &bean about a dress available as her participation for 50L fridays. i instantly stopped everything i was doing and tp’ed away. and there it was – in a glowing box of glory by the entrance at cupcake. the dress, from the texture, looks like it should be made of a soft knit material – but is super ruffley all over in and in all the right spots. and the best part is, as usual with any friday find… is that it’s only a mere 50L. if you’re reading this post on a friday, make sure you go pick this one up. as for my “bag” called the mother cathode by singing moth (grand store opening tomorrow! lm and reminder to come for my group members ), it’s actually a wooden television with side pockets and a leather handle encompassing some greenlife and a butterfly inside, seen through a clear screen. fashionably bulky and so creative, i had to carry it with my new dress. i also love that it’s called mother cathode (i was like “zenais… huh??” ) – so fun to carry right now. and lastly, there has been a crazy 100L digit darkes sale (not too sure if it’s still going, and if it is… fabulous!). the pants i loveddd and how couture this could look depending on what you wear it with, and the shoes are called the boston boots from digit darkes as well. happy friday everyone! <3

i feel absolutely horrible about this, but i’ve been meaning to forever blog about the one and only lis_noir for some time now (so sorry for the delay beatrix! <3). one of the things i really like about beatrix heinrichs‘ brand and store, is just how overall boutiquey it feels. you have the mega brands that have become quite commercial like armidi, lelutka, and emery. then you have lis_noir… an unpompous, self-respected, hidden jewel as a product of a fashionista’s passion and talent. my pictures certainly don’t do it justice since i’m not even wearing the matching top to the dress, but i do love the spring fling cashmere dress. the bag is an existing item called the kim bag which i’m carrying in mint. reminds me a little bit of what marc jacobs would put out – it certainly is a sweet bag though. as for the unique headpiece, it is from &bean’s ‘the little stuff’ boutique that sells accessories and your other little one of a kind finds from the brand everyone has come to love, especially for their skins… at least i have. the glowing feathers and the nightmare-before-christmas-esque skull attachments make it morbid and so very fashionable. pairing lis_noir’s skirt portion of the cashmere dress with the top part of one of the obscene’s black lingerie pieces, pink leggings, one of my fave ankle boots from italiano … and i have an outfit that’s just the right amount of odd with a touch of femininity.
