i’ll be moving to the metro ny area irl and won’t have access to internet until the end of next week . i don’t know how i’ll deal, but i’m going to have to manage! with that said, that means no sl, no virtual fashion, and no blogging until then – so sit tight… i’ll be back soon!

glance mag nov. issue out – finally!

the november issue for new glance magazine is finally out! better late than never, right? check out my first editorial spread by clicking on the pic below in which the shoot was inspired by the colors grey & black. don’t be too critical now! hope you enjoy it as much as i enjoyed making it .

a little bit of japan. a little bit of funk.

sound: prism – m-flo. i remember listening to this song about 10 years ago when i was visiting korea. i’m not japanese and i don’t understand a thing, but i’ve always enjoyed m-flo’s beats. best japanese group ever!

so i don’t know what really inspired this post and my look. it might have been the geisha belt from fishy strawberry i got and haven’t had a chance to wear or it might have been the hair from new store, mustache… regardless, i was putting different pieces together one by one and ended up with this japanese-esque, slightly funk infused look. like i always love doing, i love mixing hard with soft, innocent with bad and i think i see a little bit of those comparisons here to some degree. the pants are totally rockin from emery. i guess you can say they’re sort of like booty shorts! they’re probably the shortest pair i own (and i even had to stretch the leg prims a bit to make them longer! let’s just say my golden crescents were  taking a peek out into the sun ). the adorable brown knit sweater with corsage is from mixx ethnic style which i thought went perfectly with everything else i had on. going back to the hair, it’s from a store called mustache by new designer mae liamano who have just a handful of hairs, but definately all adorable! the one i’m wearing is called the ashley in mocha. the knit hat is totally color changeable and is super cute! and as for the belt, well… it’s geisha accessory perfection. the shape fits any body so well and comes in a variety of different colors which can be mix and matched with the recently released velvet dresses out by fishy strawberry as well. don’t want to write too much, also since i need to head to bed – but hope you liked my sort of eclectic look!

sound: telephone – lady gaga feat. beyonce. not a terribly big gaga fan but my look called for some gaga tunes. this one is new from her upcoming ‘the fame monster’ album.

woohoooo – hi everyone! phew… boy have i stayed busy. busy busy euni. haven’t had too much time to breathe with the blog hq opening and planning all sorts of little things here and there, but i finally found a moment to blog a look – which i admit, i haven’t been able to do in a while. so with all the rage and craze with fur lately in rl, from full on fur coats to affordable fur vests, it was only a matter of minutes before this uber trend got transported into the world of sl fashion. one designer who successfully brought the craze of the fur vest over was none other than kimberlee miles of madsy - small boutiquey brand known for their famous peplum skirts, jeans, and now fur vests! the fur gilet comes in silver (which i’m wearing now), golden, and black… exhibiting that much desired shaggy look. another new item i really liked were her draped pants. slouchy and coming in an assortment of colors, i always love a look of a loose pant. i’ve also really been meaning to create a look with the dp yumyum print cotton tee which i find adorable. i didn’t want to create the typical soft, japanese matched look but wanted to turn up the volume on this seemingly innocent looking top. i also had the kookie ono hair but never ended up using it… not sure why… nor have i been able to use shade throne’s damn fierce metropoli shades. and this look really called for the opportunity to bust both of them out. and with shades like that? of course i had to use a gaga sound clip. it was only fair to both the shades and to the fascinating pop figure. not sure where i’ll be heading with this outfit… probably just bum around at the hq.. but hope you like!

also, a tremendous thank you and hug to everyone that was able to come to the blog hq opening party on friday! i’m so glad everyone enjoyed the interior and for using the fun corkboard by posting your pics and comments. after blu finally was able to get the music going, things turned a bit wild! one thing being the ridiculous boob shaking line lol. here’s just a quick glimpse of us… well, booby shaking like there was no tomorrow. while the designer exclusive item was not available at the time, i’ll be updating the blog very soon featuring the item for you to get soon! some preview things to know about it – is that it is from the amazing machang pichot of anexx and will be at a super discounted price! so be sure to stay tuned to find out more .

hello lovelies .

so it’s been a few days since i’ve blogged… only because i’ve been super busy – with setting up my very own, soon to come blog headquarters! i’m sooooo excited for it to open and have been working hard for the place to possess a style that i like and have it be an open, welcoming place for fashionistas to meet other fashionistas by exchanging ideas, lm’s, tips, tricks and more! i was fortunate enough to have the interior decorating obsessed trash wahwah help me in putting the blog hq together (let’s say after the extended time spent together, we’ve grown to love… and dislike eachother a little more *ahem* gotta love that maize&blue ). the hq isn’t 100% complete yet, but i thought i’d write a little update to share and show you some of the things to come. here are some fun things to look forward to for the blog hq opening on the upcoming new vive9 sim this friday on 11/13, lucky friday the 13th…

• designer exclusive item available only at euni kira’s blog hq available for a limited time only! as for the designer? it’s a surprise! but i can gauruntee you won’t be dissapointed as the blog hq’s first ever designer contributor is amazing who runs a brand that has become an absolute sl favorite! you’ll find the item on the big round table as soon as you walk in .
• have fun with “euni’s corkboard“! the corkboard allows for you to share comments, suggestions, pictures and more with me and others who stop by. i want to hear what you have to say about the blog, your favorite designers, general feedback, top items on your wish list, questions… anything! the fashion community should be an open, safe one – and i cherish that. talk to me, ’cause i want to get to know you.
• participate in the monthly style photo contest! the blog hq has it’s very own white screens and poses available for you to take your own pictures wearing your favorite outfits showcasing your style. then, post your pictures onto the corkboard by my desk. each month, i’ll pick my favorite pic and post it on the blog with comments from you on what your personal style is. so flaunt your stuff, get in front of the camera, and let’s see what ya got .
• there’s plenty of furniture to lounge around in and chat with others – so stick around, read fellow comments from the corkboard, and just have fun!

it’s getting late and i don’t have much to say except that these boots are the love of my life right now and i want to make hot slex with it, numerous times a day :O. i have been on a hunt for some hot, well made thigh high boots and coco has now ended my hunt. the ribbon that wraps up your calf and ties behind your knees are devine, the shape of the boots are perfect, and the height of the boot is exactly what a perfect thigh-high should be. as rachel zoe would say, i die for them. they are totally bananas. gnite everyone <3.

phew! i’m back!! sorry i haven’t been updating recently – just been super busy with some other things that have been going on… including the spread i’ve been working on, which i’m hoping turned out ok :]. before i post a link to the mag, i definately wanted to get a post in prior to that… plus, i’ve been meaning to blog about my two favorite accessories lately. you can probably guess what those items are from looking at the title and pictures . i’ve been going pretty gaga for some interesting and funky new glasses lately and glasses from duboo’s new glasses shop certainly has been satiating me. the one i’m particuarly in love with recently are these mint colored mommy’s glasses from duboo. so cute and the perfect shade of mint green – it makes an outfit instantly cute, quirky, and flirty! i’ve also had this new necklace from lagyo called the styleway pretty much attached permanently to my neck recently. i can’t seem to take it off – one reason being that it just happens to match with everything which is so wonderful and very practical. while fashion can sometimes seem impractical, this piece is a for sure must have – and yes, i may be biased because i have an ongoing love affair with lagyo’s stuff, but it definately is versatile. the hair is also new by 3636 where the designer randomly sent this over for me to test drive – and i really liked this one called the athena in caramel (i’m horrible but i can’t remember who the designer was for this! it was just a quick inventory send from him and haven’t communicated much after that. if you’re reading this, speak up and perhaps include an slurl in your comment please!). well, that’s about it for this post. it’s wednesday, so happy hump day!
